Representing Kodiak Island, Cordova, Homer, Anchor Point, Kasilof, Ninilchik, Seldovia, and Seward
It has been a great honor to serve my community and Alaska for over 30 years. I have learned enormous lessons about how the legislature works and how to best assist the communities I represent, as well as what is best for our great state. I promise to continue to provide this district and Alaska with the best possible representation I can in the Alaska State Senate.

I believe in the importance of family values. My wife Rita and I have been married for 49 years and have three grown children, and two grandchildren.
My priorities for this district and for Alaska include protecting the Permanent Fund, providing a reasonable PFD, ensuring a stable ferry system, pursuing excellent educational opportunities in our K-12 schools and within the University of Alaska system, maintaining a healthy economy and well-paying jobs, protecting our fishing and tourism industries, and support for our veterans and seniors.
